Macroplast® & Loctite® Structural Adhesives
Henkel has the first GL™ certified two-component, structural polyurethane adhesive for blade bonding and MMA adhesives that are specially formulated for blade bonding. These adhesives cure at room temperature and provide crack-resistant, longlasting bonds to both composites and metals. Frekote® Mold Releases
Frekote® mold release agents are proprietary, semi-permanent water-based emulsions specifically developed for releasing large scale composites. Typical uses: blades, nacelles, large-composite components.

Loctite® Machinery Adhesives
Loctite® threadlockers, thread sealants, retaining compounds, and gasketing materials are ubiquitously known for preventing fasteners from loosening, reliably sealing pipes and flange, and bonding cylindrical components such as bearings, gears and shafts. Typical uses: blades, gear boxes, hubs, brakes, pitch and yaw bearings.

Terostat® & Loctite® Sealants
Henkel has polyurethane, silicone and modified silane sealants that offer an unparalleled range of flexibility, primerless adhesion, cure speed and temperature resistance including a Loctite® color-matched, paintable sealant designed specifically for wind towers. Typical uses: waterproofing blades, nacelles, towers and turbine maintenance.

Loctite® Grouts
Loctite® grouts are aggregate-filled, epoxy systems that offer high strength and withstand high torque loading. There are grades specifically designed for deep pours. Typical uses: tower installation.

Ridoline® & Loctite® Cleaners
Henkel offers water based, environmentally responsible cleaners that are well suited for cleaning during original manufacture and on-site maintenance. Typical uses: blades, nacelles, towers.

Alodine® & Bonderite® Surface Treatments
For more than a century, Henkel has been the leading supplier of state-of-the-art metal pretreatment technologies and sets the standards for corrosion protection, paint adhesion and environmental safety. Typical uses: corrosion protection for tower, hub and gearbox components.

Terostat Butyl Tapes and Sealants
Are used as sealants in vacuum forming composite laminates. Also, Henkel can design customer specific dimensional tapes. Typical uses: composite vacuum forming.
